Thank you all for your grace as we embark on a new chapter in our journey. I stand before you as the President, mindful of the circumstances that brought me here, but more importantly, resolute in my commitment to lead us forward.

The past has seen its share of changes and challenges, and I acknowledge the regret that lingers as our previous President steps down. We will deeply feel this in multiple ways as Julia is a strong leader in her unique way. She loved you all and tried her very best to meet the needs of the league. It is only natural to reflect on the past, but today, I urge you to turn your gaze towards the future. Let our collective vision be a beacon of inspiration, not a shadow of remorse.

Our strength lies in the unity and diversity of our talents, perspectives, and experiences. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities, setbacks into stepping stones, and regrets into resolute determination. As we move forward, I encourage each and every one of you to embrace the power of possibilities.

In this dynamic world, it is essential to set proper boundaries – both for ourselves and our relationships in the league. This is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing women not a social club, and we must stay focused, undistracted by the noise of external circumstances, and actions of others. Our success will be defined by our collective ability to remain dedicated to the task at hand, setting aside the distractions that might pull us astray.

Let us commit to a clear, shared vision. Let us dedicate our focus to our goals and the steps required to achieve them. With unwavering determination, we will create an environment where every member of our organization can flourish and thrive.

This journey we are embarking on  is one filled with opportunity, growth, and purpose. My leadership style will be assertive but kind, focused on business, but committed to collaborating with others. Together, we will not only achieve our goals but surpass them, redefining success and leaving behind a legacy that our organization will remember. Remember this year is all new things! If some fail, there will be lessons to be learned that help us leave a better legacy moving forward.
