Best of Texas 2022 Review

This year’s Best of Texas fundraising event featured Easton Corbin and Roger Creager, with a VIP Dinner hosted by Pat Green & Lindsey Lane. Funds raised through the event go toward JLA’s annual community grants given to local nonprofits.
This year’s BOT was new, bigger, and better. Our new partnership with Starlight Ranch provided a new venue and marketing plan for our committee. “This is my 4th Best of Texas I have attended. The layout, location, vibe was all the best it has ever been. I saw people who had been there for the entire event, and they were all having a lot of fun. Even after the event, no one wanted the party to end.” said attendee Brittainy Barber. With the new location, we were able to host 375 guests for the VIP dinner and an additional 350 guests for the headline concert.
We also introduced vendor spaces, which allowed concert goers a chance to shop and eat while proceeds still benefit the Junior League. “We have supported the Junior League ever since opening our doors in Amarillo and we just love what they do! Our core value of philanthropy resonates with supporting the Junior League of Amarillo and the community.” Says Bianca Watson, Assistant Manager of Kendra Scott Amarillo.
This event could not take place year after year without member support and significant time commitment from Co-Chairs Amanda McIntosh and Karah Kellam as well as the Best of Texas Committee. We thank these women for their time and commitment to helping raise money for our community.
