The Junior League of Amarillo is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. It's purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

We are doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers, business women, mothers, grandmothers, volunteers and friends.

In addition to the busy professional and home lives we live, our active members all donate a minimum of 50 hours each year to serve our community.  We are making a difference in Amarillo!

Active Member Requirements: 
  • Must receive 5 out of 10 membership meeting requirements in one year.

  • Shall perform placement satisfactory to the Placement Committee (50-90 hours of task completed service).

  • Annual dues - $125 (Includes $39 AJLI dues and $15 Membership Meeting Hospitality Fee.)

  • Shall fulfill all fundraising obligations.

Provisional  Member Requirements:

  • Shall attend membership meetings and other meetings as outlined in Provisional Course.

  • Shall fulfill obligations as outlined in Provisional Course.

  • Shall attend designated Placement consultations.

  • Annual dues - $125 (Includes $35 AJLI dues and $15 Membership Meeting Hospitality Fee.)

  • All fundraising obligations.
