Community Projects



The Junior League will give over $49.000.00 and 36,000 volunteer hours to the following community projects during 2009-2010:
  • Rainbow Connection
    Provides volunteers and funds to Child Protective Services to assist caseworkers in meeting the needs of clients: children and their families.
  • Teen Court
    Provides volunteers who assist with all aspects of the courtroom proceedings for Teen Court.

  • Camp Alphie
    Provides fund and  volunteers at summer camp  to help enrich children's lives that are affected by cancer.

  • Hope and Healing Place
    Provides funding and volunteers to help facilitate in grief counseling for the entire family.
     
  • Kids Cafe
    Provides funding and volunteers to help alleviate childhood hunger. 
  • North West Texas Child Life Project
    Provides funding and volunteers to help make a child's stay in the hospital a little easier on both the patient and the family.
  • Amarillo Museum of Art Alliance                                                                                                                                                                                            Provides funding and volunteers to bring the arts to children throughout the community.
