Who is ready for a Texas sized day full of events? Come celebrate Texas with some of the BEST music, food, and fund-raising. We have three very exciting events for you to attend.
Pirates and Pixies 9:30-11am
The Best of Texas Children's Adventure will be held in the new Family Life Center at Polk Street United Methodist Church. Be sure to gather your wings, pixie dust, eye patches and hooks because Tinkerbell and Captain Hook are coming to town and want to see you!
Pre-Gala Celebration 6:00-8:00pm
There will be the BEST VIP party held in the Rex Baxter Building at the Tri-Sate Fairgrounds. As always sponsored by the BEST Coors Cowboy Club providing appetizers and beer. The entertainment will be Matt Martindale!
Best of Texas Gala 8:00-midnight
The Gala will follow the VIP events in the Rex Baxter Building at the Tri-State Fairgrounds. We are excited to announce the Great Divide will be performing this year. We have the BEST Bar-B-Que in town provided by Tyler's Bar-B-Que. If you're interested in a momento of the evening, there will also be the BEST photo booth with the BEST props.
This years Gala will have the BEST silent and live auction, a fantasy trip, and various opportunities to win.
Fantasy Drawing to Grand Cayman
This years trip is to the Grand Cayman! A 7 night stay, breakfast daily for 2, and round trip airfare for 2 sponsored by Brown Buick GMC and Southwest Honda. The Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort Fantasy trip has a retail value of $9,837 but you can get your tickets for $100 each, there will only be 300 sold.

Live and Silent Auction
The BEST live and silent auction will be available with some outstanding opportunities. Some of the live auction items are a Baseball Weekend to Dallas to see the Rangers play including airfare and hotel, Name a Street in Hillside Terrace, and many more.
Diamond Dig
For the first year ever we will be having a Diamond Dig. We will be digging for the BEST diamonds in town provided by Duncan & Boyd. You can buy one dig for $5 or 5 digs for $20. 
Come celebrate Texas with some great music, food, and fundraising! Tickets are $30-$50 and can be purchased through www.panhandletickets.com or any active Junior League Member.
Best of Texas is the Junior League's biggest fundraising event, so please come out to help us raise some money for our great community.
